For this event, a snack is pretty much anything you want it to be. It can be healthy or not. It can be a hangover cure or an after school snack. It can be freshly prepared or it can come in a package. It is all up to you. All we ask is that it is food (solid, liquid or somewhere in between), that it is super yummy, that you LOVE your snacks and that it not cost a fortune. We want attendees to try things from all the vendors!
$50 bucks for the application fee. You will keep all of your sales.
What do I need to bring?
Bring everything you will need to have a kickass snack booth (ie. tables, extension cords, etc.)
How much space will I have?
The Municipal Market can accommodate many different space needs. The application asks what space needs (and electrical) you require.
I know SNACKDAY is from noon to 4 but what time can I set up? How long for load out?
We will begin loading in at 10am and everyone should be loaded out by 6pm. Depending on how many vendors we have, we may need to set loading locations and times...we will keep you informed.
Can my artist friend have a space? They make really cool stuff.
No. We love artists and really cool stuff but this is a FOOD event. Unless there art is food, we suggest they apply to Indie Craft Experience...they put on the best art/craft shows!
**The Learning Kitchen will be open as the "community kitchen" space it is. It will be on a first come, first serve basis. You can use the space to heat items, pop something into the fridge/freezer or have some extra space to prep/store things...we will all work together.
